POMEROL

ST EMILION GRAND CRU

Paule and Michel acquired this vineyard in 1989. Their common passion guided them in the development of this excellent terroir. VINEYARD Perched on a hilltop of gravel, in the town of Billaux, near Libourne, this 3-hectare-vineyard is surrounded by POMEROL and LALANDE DE POMEROL. As in the Château La Ganne, the grapevines are traditionally ploughed and are 15 years old on average. Here eighty percent merlot and 20 percent cabernet franc are found.

After destemming and then long maceration (four to five weeks in thermoregulated vats), followed by the elevage of the wine in oak barrels in which our Pomerol once stood.

A vibrating table accelerates and levels the harvest, and selects only the finest grapes as the great appellations do. The vacuum packaging protects the wine aromas thanks to its air-tight tap and inside shrinkable pouch.

It prevents oxidisation of the wine during dispensing so that it stays fresh for weeks.
